WHAT IS A FULL EXTERIOR DETAIL?

Let's start at the beginning.

What does exterior car detailing include? A premium exterior detail includes the wash and dry process that precedes additional services which may include paint inspection, paint decontamination, paint correction and paint polishing. 

We start with the wash and dry process to remove accumulated dirt that is sitting on paint surface. A Miracle Detailing® professional auto detailing services is not a car wash. We are paint correction and ceramic coating installation specialists.

The exterior detail processes are done before the Last Step Product (LSP) - final wax, sealant or ceramic coating is applied.

We are not a high volume car wash.

These are often large car washes or franchises. These businesses focus on fast and cost-efficient services. These facilities generally rely on automated equipment or a team of employees and can be good for quick clean-ups and maintenance of older or daily-driven vehicles. 

Employees usually have minimal experience and are quickly trained to perform basic auto detailing services, such as a wipe down on the exterior and interior, dressing tires, and cleaning the windows.

We are not a mobile detailer.

A mobile detailer travels to the customer's location and performs different levels of service. Some mobile detailers bring their own utilities (water tanks and generators for electricity), while others may request to use yours. Most mobile detailers offer basic services (i.e. hand wash, drying, windows, tire dressing, etc.). Mobile service is focused on providing convenience to the customer.

We produce high quality low volume work.

All auto detailing treatments are personally undertaken by Mike Moore CD-SV, proprietor of A Miracle Detailing®. Mike is CQUARTZ Finest Reserve ceramic coating certified and also holds both International Detailing Association (IDA) Certified Detailer (CD) and Skills Validated (SV) certifications. He offers advanced level services CQUARTZ premium ceramic coatings and paint correction. He welcomes folks who care about the finish and appearance of their vehicle.

What is the auto detailing paint washing process?

A luxury car wash is designed to remove dirt and grit from the paint surface without adding swirl marks to the paintwork. 
The exterior of each vehicle receives a gentle rinse using purified water. A pH7 snow foam pre-wash soap is then applied, followed with a rinse, then a hand wash using specially formulated pH neutral shampoo with Merino wool wash mitts. 

After the car is washed and rinsed, the paint is dried with warm, filtered air to safely remove water off of the paint finish and out of hard to reach places. The paint surface is then gently hand dried with premium deep pile ultra-soft drying towels.

What is included in the car detail exterior process?

• Foam Prewash then hand washed with fine quality merino wool wash mitts
• 2-Stage paint decontamination to remove embedded contaminants in the paint
• Gently dried with warm, dry, filtered air for a safe, touch-less drying experience
• Blow drying hard to reach parts of your vehicle including panel gaps, mirrors and more
• Hand dried with high quality microfiber towels to remove any remaining water droplets
• Wheels cleaned and decontaminated. wheel wells cleaned. Tires cleaned and dressed
• Exterior glass, windows and mirrors cleaned
• All paintwork and defects are carefully inspected with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools.
• Preparation for application of a premium Carnauba wax,  fine quality paint sealant or ceramic coating.

NOTE: Paint Correction and polishing is an essential step before installing a certified professional level ceramic coating.

Why Paint Correction Comes First

Detailing enhances paintwork, but paint correction repairs it. There is no point bringing a mirror-deep shine to an imperfect surface. The paint correction process removes unsightly swirl marks, micro-marring, holograms, light scratches, hazing, oxidation and water marks before the wax, paint sealant or ceramic coating is applied. 

All work at A Miracle Detailing is performed by appointment at our detailing studio. This enables specialized lighting and a controlled environment in order for us to produce the best possible results.
